ok so ive had my maltese for 7 years and the tear stains have been there since she was a puppy. tried angel eyes, tried the wipes, tried changing her water to filtered. nothing. started these about 6 weeks ago and the new fur coming in under her eyes is actually white. im not exaggerating. still wiping once a day out of habit but theres honestly not much to wipe anymore
Tear stains are lighter. Took about a month. Will keep ordering.
this is weird but i never realized the brown on her paws was the same thing as the tear stains until i read the description on this page. both are fading now. been about 2 months. groomer even noticed
She actually eats it lol. Thats more than i can say for the last 3 supplements i bought. Already worth it just for that
Our old boy wasnt himself for months. Vet said nothing was wrong but we could tell. About 2 weeks in he started bringing his toys to us again. Hes playing like he used to. I almost cried honestly
Only 3 weeks in so the stains are still there but theyre definitely lighter than before. The paw licking is less too. Giving 4 for now because i want to see more progress but its heading in the right direction
Product is great my havanese is scratching less and the stains under her eyes are lighter. Only reason for 4 stars is I wish the tub had more chews. 30 goes fast when youre giving 2 a day
See the pic. 8 weeks difference. Thats all im gonna say
I have a cabinet full of half used supplements my shih tzu refused. zesty paws, angel eyes, two others i cant even remember the names of. She eats these no problem every morning. finally something that doesnt go to waste
It does work, the tear stains are fading and shes licking her paws less. Only reason for 3 stars is the price, its a lot when youre buying every month. Would love a bigger tub option or a subscription discount. But the actual product is good i cant lie
The paw licking at night has stopped. We can all finally sleep. Thank you
3rd order. Not switching. My bichon looks and feels better than she has in years
Tear stains are way better and she stopped licking her paws almost completely. Shipping took like 9 days tho which felt long. Product itself is a 5
My 9 year old lab is acting like a puppy again. More energy, wants to play, excited on walks. I dont know whats in these but dont change it

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a probiotic actually help with tear stains?
Tear stains are caused by porphyrin, an iron-based pigment your dog's body produces naturally. Its primary exit route is the digestive tract β what doesn't clear that way comes out through tears and saliva, which is why you see the same rust color under the eyes and on licked paws. A daily probiotic supports the gut environment where that processing happens. We don't promise stain removal β we support the system responsible for clearing the pigment.
Why are her paws the same rust color as her tear stains?
Same pigment, different exit. Porphyrin is present in both tears and saliva. Wherever your dog licks β paws, legs, chin β saliva deposits the same iron-based pigment that causes tear stains. That's why no topical product can address both at once. It's one source, two locations.
How long before I see a difference?
It depends on what you're looking for. Digestive changes like firmer stool typically show up in 2β4 weeks. Less paw licking and scratching is usually noticeable within 3β6 weeks. Tear stain and coat changes take longer β 2-3 weeks minimum, because the existing stained fur has to grow out. The gut changes fast; the visible results follow.
My dog won't eat supplements. Will she eat this?
Palatability is the most consistent positive in our reviews and the top complaint about competitors. FurryCore is a chicken-flavored soft chew β not a powder you have to hide, not a capsule you have to force. Most dogs take it straight from your hand. If yours doesn't, you're covered by our 100-day money-back guarantee.
What makes these different from other dog probiotics?
Two things. First, the strains are spore-forming β Bacillus coagulans, B. clausii, and B. subtilis β which means they survive stomach acid and actually reach the gut intact. Most probiotics use vegetative strains that get destroyed on the way through. Second, we built the product around porphyrin processing, not just digestion. That's why you'll see results in places other probiotics don't touch.
Will this help with paw licking and scratching?
FurryCore supports normal yeast levels and a healthy skin response, which are connected to occasional paw licking, scratching, and head shaking. Many owners report less licking within 3β6 weeks. It won't replace veterinary care for diagnosed conditions, but it supports the gut-skin connection that's often behind the everyday discomfort.
My dog seems less energetic lately. Can this help?
If your vet says nothing is wrong but your dog just isn't himself β less playful, slower to get up, less interested in walks β that can be what a gut running below capacity looks like from the outside. Gut health affects nutrient absorption, immune response, and overall comfort. We can't promise your dog will act like a puppy, but many owners tell us their dog's energy came back within a few weeks.
Why a chew instead of a powder or liquid?
A supplement your dog refuses does nothing. Powders get sniffed out and left in the bowl. Liquids are messy. A soft chew gets eaten willingly, every single day, which is what consistency looks like. And because our strains are spore-forming, they don't need refrigeration or special handling β the chew format doesn't compromise survivability.
Can puppies have FurryCore?
Yes. FurryCore is safe for dogs 12 weeks and older. If your puppy is already showing tear staining or paw licking, starting early gives the gut environment a head start before those patterns become entrenched.
What if it doesn't work for my dog?
You're covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. No phone calls, no hold music, no runaround. If you don't see a difference, reach out and we'll refund you. We'd rather earn the next month than trap you into it.
How do I cancel if I'm on a subscription?
One click. No phone call. No email chain. No "are you sure?" screen five times. Log in, click cancel, done. We built it this way on purpose because we've heard the horror stories from other brands, and that's not how we operate.
